NOVA Store — E-commerce Demo

NOVA Store is an interactive e-commerce portfolio project built with Django. It combines a product-focused storefront with a warm cream, dark brown, and terracotta design, responsive layouts, and English and Spanish language support.

Developed by PandaDev, the project demonstrates a complete shopping journey—from browsing products and saving favorites to placing a simulated order. Shopping Experience

• Product catalog: Explore 80 fictional products across audio, wearables, workspace technology, home essentials, and travel accessories.
• Original illustrations: Each product features distinct, locally stored SVG artwork.
• Search and filtering: Find products by name, category, price range, and sorting preferences.
• Product details: View descriptions, pricing, stock availability, and illustrative ratings.
• Shopping cart: Add items, adjust quantities, remove products, and review estimated totals.
• Wishlist: Save favorite products for later.
• Simulated checkout: Complete a demonstration order without entering payment-card information or making a real payment. Accounts and Demo Dashboard Email and password authentication provides access to personal shopping features. A view-only demo account opens a store dashboard featuring illustrative sales figures, revenue charts, product inventory, orders, and customer records.

Dashboard features include searchable and paginated lists, low-stock filtering, sample CSV and PDF reports, and preview-only settings that leave shared catalog data protected. Design and Accessibility NOVA Store adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens. Its interface includes keyboard focus indicators, labeled controls, readable layouts, and contained scrolling for wide tables.

English and Spanish switching covers interface text, form validation, seeded product names and descriptions, and report labels. Progressive Web App PWA support includes an installation manifest, application icons, and a bilingual offline reconnect page. Account pages require a network connection, and private account data is not cached for offline access. Project Scope NOVA Store is a fictional portfolio demonstration. Products, sales figures, ratings, and sample records are illustrative.
