AI Video Generation

Generating and Directing Clips

30 分

An iteration strategy

  1. Generate several short drafts at lower quality settings (if available) to explore.
  2. Choose the best direction, then refine the prompt or first frame.
  3. Generate final versions at full quality.
  4. Track credits per usable second, so you can price client work realistically.

Keyframes and endpoints

Some tools accept a first and last frame and generate the motion between them. Use this for transitions (product closed → product open) and to keep shots aligned with your storyboard.

Motion controls

Depending on the tool: camera motion presets, motion strength, motion brushes that animate only selected areas, and duration settings. Small, deliberate motion usually looks more natural than dramatic movement.

Consistency across shots

  • Reuse the same reference images, character references or style settings.
  • Keep lighting and palette descriptions identical in every prompt.
  • Generate key stills first, approve them, then animate each.

Common artefacts and fixes

Problem Try
Warping faces or hands shorter clips, less motion, image-to-video from a clean frame
Product details changing composite the real product in editing, or avoid close-ups of fine details
Flicker lower motion strength, upscale/denoise in post
Wrong text add text in the editor, never rely on generated text
Jittery camera specify a single smooth movement, or stabilise in editing

Exercise

Produce the six shots from your coffee-shop storyboard using image-to-video, keeping lighting consistent, and track how many generations and credits each usable shot required.
